GCSE Latin: Nouns Overview

Nouns

A noun represents a person, thing or idea, e.g. man, dog, table, love.

Latin nouns change their endings according to number and case. They also have a gender.

Latin nouns are put into groups (declensions) based on how their endings change for the different cases. There are three main declensions (1st-3rd) and two minor ones (4th and 5th).
