Myth and Religion
In this unit, students learn about the Greek gods and how they are related to the Roman gods, about the supreme hero, Heracles, and the incredible life he led before being immortalised, and about the religious practices, beliefs and buildings of the ancient world.
There are prescribed visual and literary sources which students will use as evidence for their ideas and opinions, but they are required to research other evidence in order to gain a wider picture of ancient myth and religion.
